HCI Consulting Group LLC, founded in 1991, is a facilities management consulting company based in Aurora Colorado. As a teaching and consulting firm, we provide facility management solutions for healthcare, commercial, industrial and educational clients. James R. Allen, BS, R.E.H.
James R. (Jim) Allen is a partner with HCI Consulting Group.

Jim’s expertise and background of over thirty-one years is in building management, environmental services and regulations that affect safety, employees, and building codes. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Oklahoma State University and is a Registered Executive Housekeeper by the International Executive Housekeepers Association and is a member of the International Facility Management Association. Jim is also an authorized instructor for the OSHA 10- and 30-hour general industry outreach training program.

He has worked in a number of capacities in the healthcare industry. Since 1991, he has provided consulting services for healthcare, commercial, and industrial clients. In 2006 he served on the ISSA committee that developed the Cleaning Industry Management Standard.

Jim has published numerous articles for national publications, and he and his business partner Beatrix M. (Trixi) Babcock have presented over 150 workshops and seminars nationally for healthcare and educational audiences over the past three years.

Beatrix M. Babcock, MS-HSA, LPN
Beatrix M. Babcock is a partner with HCI Consulting Group.

Trixi has over thirty years of active experience in the healthcare field. She earned her license as a practical nurse in 1972, and then went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration. In 1995, Trixi completed a Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration from the College of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois.

She has worked in a variety of fields, from acute to long-term care, home health to clinics. In these settings she demonstrated her leadership skills as an assistant director of nurses, an infection control coordinator and quality improvement coordinator. Since 1997, Trixi has provided consulting services to the health care field. She has written policy and procedure manuals for nursing, infection control and safety; provided training in infection control and quality improvement for healthcare facilities and large custodial firms; and co-authored several published articles with her business partner, James Allen. In 2006 she served on the ISSA committee that developed the Cleaning Industry Management Standard. In addition, she is a professional public speaker and has spoken to numerous health care associations and other professional audiences across the United States.
