Demonstrate your commitment to workplace safety and compliance by having the professionals at HCI Consulting Group, LLC conduct the OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour General Industry Outreach Training Program for your key employees. The 10-hour course is for entry level participants while the 30-hour
course is more advanced. We will come to your facility to conduct training or we can arrange for an off-site classroom. Want to break the classes into short segments that can be taught over a period of time to fit your busy schedule? No problem – we’ll do whatever works best
for you.
HCI Consulting Group, LLC has trainers authorized to teach these classes and the curriculum is approved by the OSHA Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Training and Outreach Division.
Most of the 10 and 30-hour class covers certain OSHA mandated topics and the remaining time will be spent on topics of special interest for general industry and health care audiences.
Attendees will receive the “OSHA Standards for General Industry 29 CFR 1910” and applicable handouts. Participants that attend the full class will receive a certificate suitable for framing and a wallet card issued by OSHA that certifies they successfully completed the course.
OSHA 10-Hour Course and Its Application to Healthcare
The purpose of this course is to provide an in-depth course on the issues that OSHA feels are important to providing a safe working environment. This course is geared to healthcare and will focus on areas that are unique to that setting. The two presenters have over 40 years of healthcare
experience and knowledge and Mr. Allen is an authorized OSHA Outreach Instructor.
The participants will complete the 10-hour general industry OSHA outreach program with six hours being devoted to areas that affect healthcare workers In addition, they will learn how to design and implement an effective safety program. At the end of the three days, participants will be
able to take an exam that when successfully passed gives them a certificate worthy of framing and a card stating that they took and passed the 10-hour OSHA General Industry Course.
OSHA 10-Hour Course
This is the basic 10-hour course for general industry. Topics can be specifically geared toward problems in healthcare.
